Gao Laboratory at Feinberg School of Medicine

Dissecting human disease mechanisms with single-cell and spatial omics technologies and bioinformatics.

What We Do

The Gao Laboratory is dedicated to translating complex human genomes into new insights of disease mechanisms. At Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, we are experts in developing and applying single-cell and spatial long-read sequencing technologies and bioinformatic algorithms to dissect the cellular and molecular mechanisms of human diseases.
