Biomaterials and Multimodal Imaging Guided Therapy

The BIGMed Lab

The Biomaterials for Image-Guided Medicine (BIGMed) Lab develops therapeutic and imaging carriers for cancer treatment. Micro- and nanoparticles, along with their hybrid derivatives, are used as vectors for drug delivery and molecular imaging. We collaborate closely with clinicians, medical scientists, biologists and imaging professionals to translate innovative therapeutic approaches into clinical practice using multifunctional carriers and diagnostic imaging techniques.
