Bringing prevention into everyday community spaces.

The Jia Lab

Many chronic diseases are preventable with balanced lifestyles and environments. Our vision is to move prevention beyond healthcare settings and integrate health promotion into everyday community spaces.

The Jia Lab seeks to:

  1. Develop effective solutions for healthy lifestyles.
  2. Prevent chronic disease.
  3. Collaborate with community leaders and residents
  4. Focus on neighborhoods with the greatest need.

We're taking a community-driven, evidence-based approach to improve nutrition and health among families with food insecurity. If you would like to join us in creating healthier communities, we're open to collaborations focused on nutrition and other important lifestyle factors impacting health.
