Developing novel MRI technologies to address unmet needs in cardiovascular medicine.
The Kim Cardiovascular MRI Research Group
The Daniel Kim Lab at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine is a team of interdisciplinary imaging scientists and clinicians committed to innovating new cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologies to address unmet needs in cardiovascular medicine. We develop:
- Novel pulse sequences to advance cardiovascular MRI.
- Novel image reconstruction methods to maximize image quality derived from subsampled data.
- Mathematical and computational models to quantify clinically relevant physiologic parameters.
- Deep learning tools for automating segmentation and motion correction.
We believe that innovation is key to advancing the field of medical imaging.
