Understanding neuroimmunological disorders to advance treatment and expand access to care.
The Mateen Lab conducts patient-centered research to improve the understanding, diagnosis and treatment of neuroimmunological disorders, such as multiple sclerosis, neuromyelitis optica and myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody-associated disorder. Through clinical research, data-driven methods and global collaborations, the lab works to advance care and expand access to neurological services domestically and around the world.
