Postdoctoral Fellow in Translational Brain Tumor Research

The Department of Neurological Surgery at Northwestern University is seeking an outstanding Postdoctoral Fellow for our basic and translational studies in biology of malignant brain tumors with a focus on stem cells as therapeutic vehicles. Current research in our lab focuses on the use of mesenchymal and neural stem cells expressing single chain antibodies against glioma antigens. The postdoctoral fellow will be expected to build a publication record including submissions to leading cancer biology journals; supervise rotating undergraduate, graduate and medical students; apply for internal and/or extramural funding; and attend national meetings that will help to build an international reputation.
